Western Dakota served as her summer job throughout high school, during which time she expanded her knowledge of insurance and began to delve into processing activity. Lauren attended South Dakota State University for her first year of college, then transferred to the University of South Dakota after a change in her Major program. In 2009, Lauren returned to Rapid City and obtained a full time position at Western Dakota Insurors and became a licensed personal lines agent. Lauren is now in the process of obtaining her CISR designation and is planning on completing the two remaining courses in the next few months. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends and making beaded jewelry. Lauren also indulges in her lifelong passion for snow skiing in the winter and sun-filled days boating on the lake in the summer. One of her favorite things about living in the beautiful Black Hills are the four distinct seasons of the area.
